Bad Experience
The rooms and breakfast were pretty decent. But on the last day, when one of our friends were getting out to get breakfast- he was closing the door and the handle came off. The housekeeping informed the receptionist - who took a look and left. We did not think much of it - as we had done nothing - except that it would have been a faulty handle in the first place. We were shocked when the lady ( named as “ Lilly” and who looked like a senior employee ) stopped our friends after our breakfast and accusing them like they had done the biggest crime and claiming to pay for the damages. Shocked by this disrespectful and horrendous behavior, we all went down to have a talk with her. Seeing that there was no point having arguments back and forth- we agreed to pay the amount - which was 20,000 AMD. We were totally taken aback as we had done nothing - except closing the door and in addition to the horrible treatment with the guests. How can they charge us if they had a faulty equipment? We realized we should have taken pictures prior to the stay. We also realized that there were problems with the door hinges for the toilet door - had something happen to the door while we were staying - they would have put that also on us. Having experienced this - we took a good look at our accommodation bill also and realized that they charged us extra amount for the extra bed we had booked ( the amount was 2000 AMD extra from what was listed on Hotels.com ).
