The staff remembered me from my last stay and I was greeted like an old friend. My room was recently renovated, was spotless and the bed was so comfortable that I hated to get up in the morning. I had a great conversation with a staff member over breakfast and checked out. They thanked me for my stay and I told them I would surely stay again in the future.

We stayed here for 1 night so we could catch the CAT Ferry back to Bar Harbor early the next day. The Inn was very convenient in its location in regards to the highway and also to the downtown area and the Ferry. They do have a nice included breakfast that we liked. The girl in charge of the breakfast was very attentive and did a nice job. Also the woman who checked us in was very helpful in showing us a map of how to get to the ferry,

Positives: location-close to The CAT ferry loading area, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, nice shower, free breakfast with a variety of items…hot cooked or grab and go, wonderful service at the front desk and in the cafe for breakfast, helpful staff Negative: no elevator so if there are no vacancies on the first floor, it’s a little hike upstairs (only 2 floors)…the staff member at the front desk did ask if we needed assistance with our luggage which was considerate of him
