"Took the night bus from Ngapali Beach and was glad the gate was open and there was someone to check me in at 4:30am. Luckily my room was ready and since it was open they allowed me to check in right then and not wait until the afternoon check in time. Room was clean and bunks were private with curtains and I liked the stairs to the top bunks. Floor space was extremely limited though with not much room for back packs and suitcases. Breakfast every morning was nice and always coffee water and tea....

"Very nice hotel arrived very very early but were allowed to check in and go to bed. Extremely pleasant staff comfy room With good size bathroom. Nice breakfast in the rooftop restaurant with great views of the Shwendagon pagoda. Just across the road from the park and lake. Do try the Indian restaurant in the park Aroma 2. Walkable to most places of interest about half an hour to the station. Highly recommended. Do stay here."

"The staff is friendly, welcoming, attentive, I had a positive experience at the hotel. Two slight downsides - the internet in the room is not very strong/irregular. However, if you take a call in the dining room or the lobby, it is strong/consistent. Also, I was there during rainy season, so the carpeting in the hotel room gives off a stale smell. Besides those two things, its okay. The breakfast is very good, the gym is very very nice."

"The hotel staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and a pleasure to work with. Having said that, the hotel is old (clean), there is no hot water for the sink, no coffee pot (you have to call to the front desk for hot water). If you are a business traveler, this is the wrong place. If you are on a budget, this should do. The staff also has very limited English skills."
