"We have stayed at The Nordic Lodge twice now, both times have been a great experience. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and it is right downtown Steamboat Springs so you can walk to local restaurants/shopping. At this point it has become an annual stay in the Fall. The only thing that has been a bummer both times is the heated pool is not very heated which means our little one doesn't want to swim or she turns purple."

"For a traveler with a dog, this place has it all. The park area and walking available is beautiful, safe and enriching. The room was small, but I was only there one night. It was quiet and very convenient- could unload car right into room. I walked downtown and brought food back. All very easy and quick. Loved it."

"If you're into small, Europen-type hotels in the heart of town, the Bristol is for you. It's a 1940s-era building with all the quirks you might anticipate--smallish rooms, limited counter space, etc. However, it also has all the ambience of an inn you might find in Austria--library-like lobby, fireplace, sounds coming in from the street, etc. A handfull of larger rooms are available for familes. If you've had it with Hampton Inns, Holidan Inn Expresses, etc., then the Bristol just might be your cup of tea."

"The owner/hosts we interacted with were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to provide suggestions of things to see and do. The place itself is in a great location, just separated enough from the resort properties to avoid the craziness but still only a short drive away. 10/10 will be staying here again the next time I visit Steamboat.
