The hotel is located in a well manatained historical building. Indeed, the building was impressive, and we really had the feeling of living a piece of the Wurzburg history. The room was huge, and we had windows all over the room. The furniture was nice and perfectly matched the hotel style. Apart from the bedroom, there was an entrance where we could leave some stuff, and a nice bathroom with a huge shower. We also received a small bottle of local wine (Riesling) as present from the Hotel. The hotel is located very near to the town centre, which is definitely worth the visit.

Zimmer im Neubau sind schön (letztes Mal hatten wir ein lautes und abgewohntes Zimmer im Altbau neben dem Fahrstuhl). Leider waren die schönen Armaturen ziemlich schwergängig. Die Weckuhr auf dem Nachttisch ging runde 15 min nach. Frühstücksbüffet ist eher durchschnittlich; Obstsalat fast nur mit Melone.

In die Jahre gekommenes Zimmer

Unser Standardzimmer (301) ist von der Einrichtung her ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, dunkel mit Blick auf die wenige Meter entfernte Hauswand gegenüber und wegen des danebenliegenden Aufzugs nicht ruhig gelegen. Wir waren über das Wochenende in Würzburg. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig in den Innenhof gelegen. Als absolutes Highlight muss ich aber das Personal hervorheben. Mein Partner hatte Geburtstag während des Wochenendes und man hat sich extrem Mühe gegeben dies zu feiern: Auf dem Frühstückstisch wartete ein kleines Präsent, das Personal brachte Kuchen und gratulierte und beim Auschecken gab es noch ein kleines Give Away. Besten Dank an das gesamte Team, wir waren heillos begeistert :)
