Dirty, stinky

This motel was dirty and stinky. Bed sheets werent washed. Floors werent clean. Toilet wasnt clean. There was hair in the drain of the shower. Trash and beer caps were on the floor. Dryer sheets shoved in AC unit to mask the smell. Didn' even shower it was so nasty. I slept with my hoodie pulled over my head. I guess it served a purpose of a cheap bed to crash until daylight. I would just spend the extra $20-$30 for a chain motel next time.

Hotel was fine, we had to plug in all the appliances, the towels were just thrown on the rack. There was a very bad smell outside of the hotel but I later found out the field down the road had just fertalized. So not much the hotel owner could do about that.

We ended up staying at a different hotel. The Red Carpet Inn is so bad, I don't know how they can even stay oen. Cockroaches, bedbugs, fleas. We were warned by a very dear friend as to how bad the Red Carpet Inn is. Thankfully we were able to book a room at a different hotel.

The Red Carpet Inn is in need of updating. The bathtub was uninviting and chose not to bathe in it.

Well you get what you pay for. AC. front and filter were filthy and had a thick layer of dirt on them. The room had a smell to it.

Beds clean and staff friendly. Simple breakfast of cereal, pastries, juice, toast or bagels. Room in need of maintenance and updating—tub didn’t drain for a short shower (took about 10-15 minutes afterward to fully drain), torn carpeting, chipped paint, poorly repaired sections on walls—overall shabby.

After driving 14 hours, I did not expect check-in to take 15 minutes when I was the only one checking in. The room (#32) was old, dirty and worn out. Chairs were torn, the caulking around the sink was missing, there was no drain stopper for the sink, stains everywhere, and while there was a chain on the door frame to secure the door - there was no place on the door to connect it. I traveled extensively in my career, sometimes racking up 250 night per year in hotels. This was by far the worst hotel in my experience. Even third world countries had this place beat.

Not a bad hotel, clean, quiet, courteous. Breakfast with the cost of the room was an added surprise. Most places won't give you a complimentary breakfast.
