"We had an amazing stay! We were two couples travellking together for the formula one and had joining rooms with views over the track. The rooms were newly renovated and were very comfortable. The service was amazing and they provided us with free pickup from the airport since there were road closures that weeekend due to the hotels proximity to the track. I have not seen a more stark juxtaposition of the modern with the ancient as this skyline in Baku, Azerbaijan. Baku is not yet on the tourist map so there are no hoards. This was during a walk through the old city or icharishahar. It was a memorable walk - pleasantly windy and quaint. The "City of Winds" lived up to its name!
