The hotel was a perfect location for us as we were walking part of The Thames Path. It was lovely to sit in the pub garden by the river with a drink after we had finished our day of walking.

Christmas stay with family

Fantastic service by all the team for our family stay over Christmas. A family member was unfortunately taken ill and the team looked after us extremely well - more than we expected them too. Rooms were clean, comfy and spacious. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Lovely little place.

Everything was lovely in this delightful little place, food was amazing, room was lovely and comfortable, staff were very accommodating and friendly. The only negative would be that the room we stayed in (5) must have had the boiler in the loft above it as it was noisy in the dead of night. Apart from that, the Rose Revived was so lovely in every way.

Nice location but disappointing breakfast

The room was comfortable, and the dinner pleasant pub food. Breakfast was disappointing; we had inadvertently booked room only and had to pay £11 each for a cooked breakfast which was lukewarm on arrival and not particularly good.

Friendly pub in a beautiful location

I have stayed here a few times over the past few years and this visit was as good as ever. Some of the rooms are a tad small but smartly presented and comfortable. The staff here are all friendly and accommodating and the food is really good. But the location, a short drive from Oxford, is excellent right next to the Thames and a picturesque bridge crossing the lazy river. The restaurant overlooks this view along with the beer garden, a perfect spot to drink or dine. Also there are several lovely walks from this location either across fields to the north or either direction along the Thames path. Overall, definitely recommenced.
