hot shower and great water pressure not as clean as most motels with water scale on shower head but most likely because of the water they use. restaurant and bar was great brisket was awesome.

Good old fashioned country service

My wife and I were traveling back to Darwin from Brisbane and overnighted at the Boulder Opal Hotel. We unexpectedly had to stay another night because the road north was cut due to flooding. Celeste and the team were excellent in catering to our unexpected emergency. The whole situation was managed very well with our room ‘held-over’ for us to use on the second night. We were kept up to date with the latest road reports and made to feel at ease with what was a stressful situation. Fortunately the road opened on the third day and we were able to make our way home. I would have no hesitation booking a room at this family run hotel in the future. Thanks again for making our stay in Winton hassle free.

Overall fairly clean room, some bugs, however we were expecting this as it is in the outback. Pool was not ready for use and needs some TLC. Advised on check-in that the restaurant was closed permanently.

Schöner Pool aber sonst…..

Ruhig und mit Opalen dekorierter kleiner Pool. Sehr viele Insekten rund um die Gebäude, wovon einige auch ins Zimmer gelangten. Sauber sieht anders aus: der Duschkopf wurde vermutlich noch nie entkalkt. Die beiden Deckenlampen sind eine Ansammlung von tausenden toten Insekten!
