Friendly staff, room was clean. Breakfast worked, great for quick short stays. For us it was an overnight flight connection layover stay.

The MainStay Suites near the Winnipeg airport was okay overall. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. I also appreciated having a full-size fridge and freezer, especially for keeping medication cold. Breakfast was the big disappointment. It was one of the poorest hotel breakfasts I’ve come across, so we left and went to Denny’s instead. I mentioned it to the staff, who said they were working on improving it. I hope they do, because the friendly service and spacious rooms made for an otherwise decent stay.

Everything was fine but I did not receive my wake up call. They knew I had to be at airport by 5:30 am and Fortunately, I woke up at 5:40. I had an insane amount of things to bring with me. 3 baggage and two large pet carriers and I had mobility issues. They called one cab although knew I’d need two because of the things I had. This snowballed into a very rushed and painful time at airport and I almost missed my flight. If you are not in a rush to leave and can leisurely take your time, then yes. Nice hotel. But this serious mishap made my day absolutely terrible.

Very disappointing stay. We booked through Expedia expecting a suite for four family members, but the room was extremely small, crowded, and nothing like what I would consider a suite. The bed and sofa bed were uncomfortable, and the whole room felt cramped and stressful. Breakfast was also very basic and did not match what we expected from a continental breakfast. At $212, this stay was not worth the price. I would not recommend this hotel for families looking for a comfortable stay.
