"Another fantastic stay here. We first stayed when my husband proposed (actually onsite) in 2010, revisited in 2016 for our wedding anniversary and then returned this February (2026) with our children to share this special place. Every time we have been the staff have been great, the rooms are comfy and spotless and the food has been delicious. We were all very sad to leave today. Thanks to the team for a lovely and welcoming stay. "

"We were upgraded to a luxury room. There was nothing luxury about it, very tired, tiles around the bath cracked and lifting, wall behind the bath water damage. The room looked nothing like the pictures, it was tiny, dark and gloomy. I understand it is an old building, but this room should definitely not be classed as luxury."
