"Although the hotel looked a bit tired, the things that really matter such as the quality of the breakfast ingredients and the helpfulness and demeanour of the staff were very impressive! We had a couple of minor issues (toilet seat loose and cistern not refilling as water was running straight into the bowl after flushing) that were addressed satisfactorily within minutes of reporting them. Parking was adequate with a few spaces at the front of the property and a few more behind - although the access to those behind the property was quite tight particularly if cars not parked correctly at the front of the property. Location was good with Bowness being about 10 - 15 minutes walk and Windermere 5 - 10 minutes."

"Just got back from an amazing weekend at the Ryebeck, what a fantastic welcoming hotel. Very clean and welcoming. The hotel is ran by Craig and his brother, whom are so welcoming, and have a real nothing is too much trouble attitude. They are so funny, and create a really good welcoming atmosphere. Special shout out to Liam the Barman, who is such a genuine great guy. And adopts the same, nothing is too much trouble attitude Contrary to what Craig constanly stated they really can get the staff I will certainly be back!"
