Keith and Amy are wonderful people and hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lodge. 5 minutes to Whiteface. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Keith and Amy were so warm and hospitable. The lodge was clean, renovated and convenient to Whiteface and Lake Placid. The breakfast spread was incredible! Keith shuttled us to and from the mountain whenever we needed. The personalized service and hospitality was truly special. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We will visit again and have shared our experience with many others. The property was beautiful. The rooms were immaculate and displayed the “Adirondack Feel” completely. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. All the “little extras” were thoughtfully available. Truly a wonderful stay! Keith was like an old friend- happy and inviting. The service here was outstanding! Keith really took care of us and treated us like family. Keith really made our trip! The property is beutiful. Breakfast is made in the morning. The hot tub amazing. The rooms are clean and cute. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Perfect Adirondack Getaway
Amazing!!! Personalized service even before we arrived which continued throughout our stay. The owners are welcoming, caring and ready to help with anything you need. The property is newly refinished with all custom wood work beautifully done. The perfect Adirondack getaway! We loved our stay and hope to return soon.

The place was just a very expensive motel. The people who run it were lovely. Breakfast was a nice continental buffet. BUT the room was very small, bathroom was extremely small. And the AIR CONDITIONING machine dates to the middle ages. The AC was so noisy and unpleasant my husband and I hardly slept a wink. We couldn't even figure out how to turn it OFF. It was too unprivate to open windows. And there are dark red drapes that need to be closed if you want any kind of privacy. There's no good view anyway. And the room cost $400 !!! Definitely NOT a good value. I hate to give these people a bad review because they were so nice. But they can't charge those prices.

Our AC units have been all upgraded to a single unit (heat and air conditioning), plus they run on propane gas to increase efficiency. Our maintenance personnel is on 24-hour standby. Any AC troubles should be quickly resolved. As a preferred member of Boutique Hotels of America, we strive to provide every guests with the highest level of hospitality service. We regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. As a part of our satisfaction guarantee, your charge ($386.00 + tax) for the stay has been fully refunded. There was absolutely nothing we did not like. Staff were all friendly, polite, helpful, and accommodating. Everything was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, quality materials one would expect at superior lodgings. Town center, easy access, close to various outdoor entertainment and excellent restaurants. We will definitely be returning to the Adirondack Spruce Lodge. Thank you!

Fantastic service! Keith was great! Comfortable and clean. Adirondack chairs around the fire. Keith brought out fixings for S'mores. The hot tub was relaxing as we looked up at the stars. Great breakfast too!

Fishing Getaway
Sure beats camping!!!! Spent three days at the lodge. Room was recently remodeled and in great condition. Great location for fishing and hiking! Keith is extremely welcoming and went out of his way to give us excellent tips on where to hike and fish. Overall, a great stay in an amazing location.

The staff went out of there way to make you feel comfortable and ensure you enjoyed your stay. Keith the manager is very involved and attends to detail. The grounds of the property look slightly dated however you will be pleasantly surprised by the upscale bath and rooms. Great location, couldn't ask for a better experience.

The lodge is lovely--that is the first word that comes to mind--the room has beautiful woodwork that gives it a warm, amber glow. The bed was comfy. I rested up there after my second Pfizer vaccine and it couldn't have been a better choice for a peaceful time to rest up before returning home. The manager, Keith, is a fount of knowledge about the area--and honestly loves to greet and meet guests. I've already told friends about the charm of the lodge, the charm of the area and the charm of Keith and Jen (night reception). I'm already planning a return trip for the fall.
