Robbery by Comfort Suites Lewisburg PA

The Comfort Suites cancelled my pre-paid reservation with no reason. Refuse to give me back my money. It appears hotel is under construction, (when I passed thru July 27) then why did they accept my reservation? DO NOT DO A PRE-PAID reservation for this hotel. I had stayed there many times before. If they did this to others, they are really raking in $$$$$.

Pool and gym were closed. Sign said due to COVID front desk clerk said due to renovations. Web site did not tell me that. Privacy curtains/room darkening curtain did not close all the way. They were not made to close all the way. So we needed to change is the bathroom and woke up with the sun.

Unfortunately I booked my reservation in Lewisburg thinking that I was making one in Lewistown. Because I didn't purchase insurance they told me there was nothing I could do. Whatever happened to simple courtesy? They should have just refunded me my money

Amenities not as advertised.

We booked this hotel to have an indoor pool and gym access. Both are listed as amenities on the website. Neither are available. Gym is closed for COVID and pool closed for maintenance. Additionally, I felt overall that when there was a corner to cut, management took it. Very small shampoo and conditioner bottles for 4 people in the room, plastic silverware at breakfast was so flimsy it was extremely difficult to use the knife and spoon without them bending. BUT the room and hotel was clean and the breakfast, while not amazing, did have options for everyone.

This place took my money and canceled my room

I didn’t stay here. First, the double booked me when I only booked one room. Second, they canceled on me last minute and it left me scrambling to find a different hotel for the night. Third, they still charged my card and are refusing to refund me saying that it was a non refundable room even though THEY CANCELED ON ME! I wasn’t happy that they called me and told me they made a mistake and couldn’t rent me the room even though I booked it months in advance and they won’t refund me now and really left me in a tough position finding another hotel on such short notice.

worst experience of my life

I did not have a stay, when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel was closed, there was someone there to inform us that the hotel was closed, there was no assistance offered to find a different hotel, we traveled 4 hrs to get there and did not have a hotel to stay in, there was no assistance at all, we were told that someone called regarding out reservations on 8/10, which was 2 months prior to the reservation, 1 single call with no message, there was no email or text, I find this unacceptable, we had booked 2 rooms, then had to look around for any open rooms in the area, we were very unhappy with this. I would not recommend this chain to anyone if this is how the patrons are treated.

The pool was closed which no clue why sign said covid no covid outbreaks.looks like they were storing renovation equipment in there . My grandkids were disappointed. 345.00 for 1 night alot of money oh well it was clean but alot if money . little league world series week so the prices were jacked up. 40 minutes away from the event

The property and the room was clean. I booked this hotel because it has a pool. I was traveling with 2 kids and having a pool was essential. When we checked in we were informed that the pool had been out of order since 2022. They are currently repairing it and hopefully it will open soon? So we were very disappointed with our stay because we were misinformed by Expedia.
