Where to start?
The heat wasn't working ... that would've been a nice piece of information to know beforehand considering the temperature outside plummeted for the weekend. The people working check-in were incredibly rude. The room was dirty and in DIRE need of updating ... there was peeling paint, rust on metal furnishings, a bad seal on the sliding glass door ensuring a deafening whistling noise all weekend (Hurricane Ian was coming through). While trying to haul our luggage to the car from the 3rd floor, the elevator wasn't working. Why? Because the cleaning staff was holding it open on another floor (this happened several times throughout the weekend). On Sunday morning at 7am maintenance began on the room directly above ours ... power tools, yelling etc. In short, this property needs a LOT of TLC from the owners. And for now, I would urge people to stay ANYWHERE else in Wildwood Crest.
