「Beautiful spot, quiet and friendly hosts」

「Loved the ambience of this house filled with so many period features. Even better were our hosts David and Lindy who went out of their way to obtain help for me when I fell ill during the night and required hospitalization. The following day, David drove my partner to the hospital to pick me up. A stay at The Laurels is like visiting with old friends, sitting in the living room with other guests of an evening with a glass of wine and a selection of snacks. Breakfast could not have been better....

「My husband and I were attending a wedding in Norwa and arriving late. The after hours check in is great and easy to find. The parking area is safe and the room and amenities were fantastic. Definitely recommend staying and really clean and comfortable. 」

「Lovely apartment, but next time a non "Accessible Access" Room would be better, for us. Concrete floors a bit cold and no "soft" lighting in the kitchen/sitting room. TV reception a bit "fluttery"! The late (3pm) check in was the most inconvenient thing for us. Most do 2pm. Location is beautiful, staff really excellent. Audrey's Restaurant a big bonus.」

「Don't take shared bathroom room as there is no bathroom at first floor and only second floor. There is bar ground floor, very busy and noisy. Friday and Sunday they have live music which runs around 12 I think, so difficult to sleep till that time. Rooms are well maintained, bed was cosy. Just linens you get and no extra amenities. Location is perfect. The receipensionist was very helpful and listening, helped us with our issues very efficiently.」

「The recent renovations are the reason we choose for this stay. The lobby, restaurant are all beautifully done. We stayed in a freshly renovated suite. Rooms are very large and has a nice outlook of trees. We were met at entrance by welcoming staff who showed us the hotel and room. But as a 5 star hotel, there are lots of things below our expectations. On the 2nd day of our stay, we hang the label to clean the room in the morning. It was not cleaned or replenished when we came back in the late...
