The view is breathtaking at the rooms. The neighbourhood is just beautiful. I would stay longer to enjoy this view. The prices of food is very premium. Wish it was less. The staff respond very quickly to emails and are helpful. We will come back again. Auf Wiedersehen und danke

Best part was the Views which were astounding from the Inn. However, the receptionist were not very welcoming & harsh in response even on non busy days. They have separate hotels under one name & were asked to do self checking which was not easy. We had our room safe non functional & was asked to deposit stuff at the other property which wasn’t convenient. We loved the view & the quiet.

Dear NikharThanks for your review. We apologize for the issue with the safety box. There is our main building JUNGFRAU HOTEL, there is the reception located. In the annex building ALPINE INN, there is no reception, our guests can do the self check- in there or pick up the key in the JUNGFRAU HOTEL ( as you did). As there is no staff and no reception in the annex building, we have no option to store the luggage there.All the best for you.Kind regards

Good Value
Hotel Annex is in a great location with lots of parking available. The best thing about this hotel are the beds; super comfy, plush, and supportive. The room is a bit spartan but clean and everything worked. Our bathroom needed a bit of work; there was a black something on the shower wall and in the grout. And the showerhead was mounted at about 5 feet up. There was nothing special about the breakfast; basic cheeses, sliced meat and cereals. The only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon. Overall, I would stay here again just because the price was right; it was a good value. The dinners at the restaurant are very good and I recommend eating there. And the ice cream is from a local boutique ice cream maker, and was quite good.

The location and hotel was good overall. The outside was not well lit and was a bit darker than we would have liked to get around at night. There was a problem with the heater in our room that wasn't working. We called the front desk and they were accommodating and moved our room.

Pro: Value, Location, Self-Checkin Con: Need to spruce up the exterior of the building, Only one key per room, A bit cold because only one heater in the room was working and the one that works wasn’t warm enough, either. I increased the temperature to the max, but it was still lukewarm. Brrrrr~

Ideal to sleep close to the pistes
Great Inn to spend a night or two close to Grindelwald (which is less than 20 min away by car). Frre parking. Quiet area. Spacious rooms. Very clean and well-furnished. Couldn't ask for more.

Clean, convenient, fairly priced, friendly staff
This is a perfectly fine inn; clean, conveniently located, and inexpensive by Swiss standards. Parking is free and convenient which was important for us since we brought our own vehicle. There was a small outdoor area in the center of the inn with patio furniture and a place for our daughter to run around. The views of the surrounding mountains are quite nice and one evening we sat outside for about 30 minutes to decompress and drink some wine that we brought after a long day of sightseeing—it was quaint but quite nice. There is an Italian restaurant across the street which has good food and good service as well, which was perfect for our first night there when we checked in late. It is a convenient walk to the commuter train station linking you to the wider region, but also the cog train that takes you up to Schynige Platte—walking to the station takes no more than 10 minutes, and there are a number of other restaurants and grocery stores within a 10 minute walk. Note, this inn is in partnership with the Jungfrau Hotel. Although we didn’t experience staying in the hotel itself, we did have to check in there (about a three minute drive away from the Inn) and we also ate there on a Sunday evening since few other restaurants were open. Dinner was great and the service was great. They made us feel very comfortable! All in all, if you are a low key traveler who is looking for a no hassle, convenient, clean, and fairly-priced inn, this is the place for you. Great for family!

We loved the view and we liked how we were able to get to the train very fast. It looked spotless and the they were able to clean it when we left it looked the same when we first came. The only minor issue was, TV not working, but who wants to watch it when you are in little paradise.

We ended up staying at another hotel because after arriving at the hotel which was closed until 3pm (We arrived around 1030am) we couldn’t find anyone to ask about leaving our bags. I contacted the hotel prior to arriving about storing or luggage. So we walked back down to the train station with luggage in tow. We were not going to bring our luggage with us into Lauterbrunnen so we stayed at the Edelweiss Hotel. Everything there was PERFECT!!

Stunning location with a view of the Jungfrau. We had an upper room with a large balcony. The lower rooms have an open terrace area but views are less spectacular. The room was large, airy and extremely clean. Although it was basic, it had all we needed. The breakfast room was also bright and airy and the food was fresh and nicely presented. The hotel is a short walk from the station where trains run regularly into Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. The restaurant opposite (Italian) was great as was the Jungfrau Hotel Restaurant where we received a 10% discount as guests of the Alpine Inn. On check in we were presented with a list of rules and possible fines if these rules were broken. I felt this was completely unnecessary and unwelcoming. I felt like a child on a residential or summer camp rather than a grown up paying to stay in a hotel. This was the only negative in our opinion.

Cute little motel
Great little motel. Nothing fancy, but very clean, spacious room, and a very good breakfast. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in-shame on me for not writing it down- but he was fantastic with information. Hotel right across the street from a really great Italian restaurant.

Pleasant stay.

Tour of the Jungfrau
Perfect accommodations in Wilderswil after arriving in Zurich on overnight flight from Boston and hoping train to Wilderswil. Arrived early, left our backpacks at reception and Ronnie graciously brought them to our room while we explored the town. Nice breakfast! Convenient to take cog rail mountain train from same station next morning for Schynige Platte to begin hiking Tour of the Jungfrau! We will return to Alpine Inn when we hike back in to Wilderswill after 10 days on trail.

Nice cozy inn with a great view
It's a quiet cozy place with ample greenery around. Every room has a great view of Jungfrau from balcony. At the end of a hectic tour, it's very relaxing experience to sit in the balcony, absorbing the beautiful view. Inn has a green yard infront, good for kids. There are a few restaurants option nearby. Walking distance from Widerswil train station. We visited with our 2 yr old, and enjoyed our stay.

Hotel not far from the station
Hotel had only breakfast and not even a cafe where one could order sandwiches etc later in the day. The room did not have an air conditioner but only a very small table fan which hardly gave any breeze! Also there was a notice on the bathroom door saying if the guest wet the bathroom he/she would be charged 200CHF which is as much as the room tariff!! Iv travelled to many places and this is a first of a kind!

Yes it is correct that our rooms don`t have A/C but we don`t make advertising for this because it is very difficult to get a permit for the air-conditioning system from the gouvernment. About the bathroom notice we had guests who had not turned off the water tap and then checked out and the water ran for hours. We are looking forward to welcome you again in our Hotel.

Good hotel, lukewarm service
Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a sign in the bathroom about being charged 200 CHF if we make a mess. I understand their intention to keep their bathroom clean, but it sounds more like a threat to a customer, so that was not nice. The room itself is adequate with a balcony view of the mountains and breakfast was alright. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station and parking is available on-site. When we were checking out, we were told we had to pay over 70 CHF for the extra person we brought in. I did not understand how they got to that number, but we did not argue as we had to move on to our next destination and they promised they would email me the receipt of the details, which I never received. I guess it all still works out for the hotel chain without being concerned for the customer as the area is a tourist accommodation and there is a lack of rooms during the summer months.

Extra charge is for an extrabed for one child it is 35.00 CHF per night inkl. breakfast. In switzerland is it usually that extrabeds are not free of charge. Small Motel style hotel.
This is a small hotel built in the style of a US motel. with the bedrooms in a separate block, within the car park, from the main reception and breakfast room. Its obviously been refurbished to a good standard but obviously the budget option within the area. Room was a good style, but old fashioned especially the bathroom , which could really do with modernisation. The windows were an issue as only a door to the balcony or a huge window could be opened which my partner felt insecure leaving open as we were on the ground floor. So the lack of Air-con made it a warm night, luckily a fan was provided in the room to help so i did still get a reasonable nights sleep. The guy in the reception was very straight to the point and not exactly welcoming, but the Breakfast waitress was very nice, welcoming and attentive. Overall okay, if the bathroom was modernised, and A/C provided i would consider staying again possibly?

Nice Hotel close to Wilderswil train station
The hotel rooms were very good, clean and quite modern. They were very spacious too. We did not get a chance to have the free breakfast the next day morning due to early train but looked similar to other hotels in the area. The views from the room balcony was also great.
