"Updated and clean rooms. Pretty basic but worked for us. The bathroom could have had an extra shelf or towel hooks but we made it work. Housekeeping upon request. We were there for 4 nights so just switched towels. Breakfast was typical-premade scrambled eggs and sausage, muffins, cereal, etc. Not quick to replenish some items but overall, it worked for us."

"A great place for a pet friendly stay! We always love the rooms, the restaurant and the beautiful ocean view. It's just the best location. We did have construction materials that were in our view this time (discarded cardboard) but I alerted the desk and hopefully this is a temporary thing. :)"

"We loved that it was a historical property, which was very well maintained. The rooms are exceptionally large and comfortable and the property was very quiet. We had the Rita Hayworth room which provided a lovely view of the ocean, though the room was situated in the middle of the mansion, which looked over the roof of the pillared entrance to the front door. It was the only possible drawback that we can think of to the room, and we did not really notice it too much because we were looking at the view and the golf course below us. On another visit, we would choose either of the rooms to the left or right. We had dinner in their dining room, which was lovely. Breakfast nor lunch are served at the hotel and dinner is not served Monday and Tuesday evenings, but they recommended two very good restaurants to us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went to them and thoroughly enjoyed them as well."
