Worst motel I’ve stayed in 30 yrs. Had to change rooms twice due to very noisy AC and a leaking toilet. Mattresses were no better than a chunk of foam on plywood. Dirty and run down. No onsite staff. Run away from this place!

First of all - we did not know we had to check in across the street from Travelodge- NO signs outside telling us where to check in. When we checked in - they had to charge us a deposit (we have a dog) and I waited for the girl to figure it out. It was frustrating!

I am sorry for the inconvenience that we may of caused and will strive to make your and any others guest experience better.We do have one office for Baymont and Travelodge and I was not aware of the signage that was displayed being removed for check-ins, I will get that reposted immediately.You may be an excellent pet owner but we do not have knowledge of all guest pet owners so as most hotels do, we have a pet deposit or charge due to the extent of past experiences with pets and the cost of past damages. We do appreciate your business!

This place sucked!
I arrived late around 11:00 or so. It was raining. I then discovered that the check in was across the 4 lane road that goes in front of the property. Also there are giant rain/snow swales forcing you to cross where the driveway enters the property. Since I had a trailer and had just found a suitable parking spot, I had to walk across the road. There were no lights on in either parking lot so it was super dark and I almost was struck by a car. When I arrived at the front desk, I was met with indifference and after a super long time checking in I had to walk back across the street in an even harder downpour. When I entered the room, the light switch by the door didn’t work which forced me to feel around the light for the switch. I was also met with the stench of cigarette smoke even though I reserved a nonsmoking room. I called the front desk and again received the same indifference as before. The bathroom was dated and pretty small but that was not a big issue. The room was very dated. Certainly not what I was expecting for the price. The only breakfast was a nearby diner.

All of our rooms are non-smoking rooms, we apologize for the stench of cigarettes and will discuss this issue with our housekeeping staff to ensure that this does not continue. The room we stayed in was clean. The bed had no mattress pad or bedspread. There was one blanket. The mattress was bad. The shower curtain needed washing. The room had an odor, but running the a/c seemed to help. The carpet was clean and the towels were good. The room had plenty of plastic cups, shampoo and soap.

We got to that hotel late at night after booking through Expedia. The girl at the front desk claimed that she had problems checking me in and said she had to cancel my Expedia reservation and book me a new one. She gave me a receipt showing that she refunded me back my money. A few days later I checked my cc and what they did is so fraudulent! I paid $58 on Expedia. She charged $105 on my card and then refunded me $48 saying that was the Expedia refund. Once I looked at it all, I paid the original $58 through Expedia and another $58 that she charged me! I put a dispute on my cc

No breakfast, they own a cafe nearby for you to purchase a meal, if desired, and you have to check in across the street at the baymont hotel.

I wanted a bed, ice, and air conditioning and I got that. There were some difficulties: the hotel was actually managed out of the hotel across the street, so I had to double back to check in, the room they gave me was already occupied, which meant another trip across the street, and back across the street the next morning to check out.

Can’t register at the hotel itself, must go across the street to the Baymont to register. Room was nice standard room. Shower head positioned for someone to taller than 5’ and no extra toilet paper. Again had to go across the street to get it.

I booked a King room was given a room with a bed that was smaller than a double. Front desk informed me after I went in the room that he could cancel but I would have to pay. Then I was charged twice for the same night so not only did we have to sleep on a tiny uncomfortable bed but the was charged double! Absolutely do not recommend staying here!

Voicing my opinion !!!!
Neighbor was very noisy and kept us all night the first night deleting on the walls talking really loud all night long !!! Refrigerator in room did not work at all, which if it comes with it it should work !!! We told them at office they didn't seem to care !!! Does it make sense that to report something or problems you have you have no office at where we stayed you have to go across the street to the Baymont !!!!???? There should be an office at this hotel you shouldn't have to go across the street !!!

Queen beds are really full beds??
On the internet, booked king size bed, got to hotel(check in is across the highway) and got to room and found full sized bed. Talked to clerk next morning about bed size and he said he would address this with the manager. Clerk told me they had nothing bigger than a queen. Know it was a full bed because my husband lay on our backs and we were shoulder to shoulder.. Only stayed one nite, had to get back home. Not sure if I will stay here when it comes to our class reunion next year.

No staff at our hotel. The front door was our first indication the hotel was very low budget. Dirty door. The room had cobwebs on ceiling. The beds had old brown blankets. The sink was all scratched up. The bathroom was rough. The shower tub was clean but dirt stained. The bathroom door dirty. Behind the door was a spider web that caught dead bugs. The property in no way is up to Wyndham standards.

Burned out ovehead light bulb. Smoke dector hanging at an angle out of ceiling. Toilet ran continually for 2 hours. Direct TV was without choices. No manager on duty at premises. Had to walk across a busy 4 lane street to register and receive room key. No coffee machine in room.

Nothing, the front desk was across the highway, 400 feet away??? What the ---- is that. Our TV did not work upon check-in, had to call for maintenance, from across the road. Also in the morning I had to call FD again, because TV wasnit working again. Are you kidding me. We will not be staying at any Baymont Hotels or THI Travelodge ever again. BOY has Hotel customer service vanished.

NO drinking cup or ice container.....faint smell of cigarette smoke in bed. Check out person said NO Drinking cups or ice containers were to be provided any more in the rooms. UNBELIEVEABLE !!! Needless to say, I will never stay at a Travelodge again. Wyndham hotels are in a steady decline as I have seen over the years as I travel.

a good cleaning of the bathroom would improve the rating. Dirt in the corners and around the toilet. Baseboard very dirty. Coffee and coffeegrounds were in the coffepot from previous guest. Didnt give you a good feeling rebarding the cleaning of the room.
