Renovation is going on great! Manager Yuveee was amazing — very kind and generous. The price was excellent since I was traveling on a budget. Pet friendly and perfect for an overnight stay. Nice small town atmosphere and very close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Highly recommend!

The hotel is under new management and renovations. We expected substandard accommodations because of the price. The room was immaculate., including the tub. Toilet and floor. The bed was comfortable. We had a wonderful stay here! The gentleman working at the hotel was extremely kind, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our visit. The staff overall provided great service and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the hotel is very budget friendly for travelers looking for a good value. Wibaux is also a charming little town with a peaceful atmosphere, making it a nice stop while traveling through Montana. Now I know why the price was so good. The property is dated and the room was not cleaned to my standards. I was a little afraid to sleep in the bed, but I was exhausted and took my chances. The bathroom smelled bad, too. We should've moved on.

We had a wonderful stay at the Roosevelt Hotel in Wibaux, Montana! One of the best parts was that the hotel is pet friendly, which made traveling with our dog so much easier and stress-free. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, and the atmosphere was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for travelers passing through the area. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of parking nearby. We also appreciated the convenient location — only about 30 miles from Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park, making it a great affordable option for anyone visiting the park or exploring the Badlands. The complimentary breakfast and coffee in the morning were a nice touch, and overall the hotel offered excellent value for the price. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, pet-friendly place to stay near Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the Roosevelt Hotel in Wibaux is a great choice! We can deal with worn out and dated, but this place was filthy. No one around to check us in at 10:30 pm. A maintenance guy found us a key to a room, but we had to wait for him to finish his shower. Headboard had years of filth, so I wiped it down with a hand towel. Window was broke out. Sink had something gross stuck to the side. Shower curtain, wash cloths and towels were grungy and stained. Long dark hair in the shower. Sheets had some funny stains. Overall gross. No one at the desk to check us out this morning, either. A big NOPE NOPE. NOPE.

There was no smoke detector in the room. The wiring was exposed on the lamp, which was not attached to the wall. We were concerned there were many plugs, put into one surge protector in one outlet. Towels and linen are in desperate need of upgrade. It’s obvious they are in stages of renovation, our room was freshly painted. The maintenance man immediately repaired to the lamp. The entrance the front and the back did not walk. There was also no chain on the door.

There wasn’t anything I liked about this hotel. It is run down and the rooms are horrible. We would not have stayed except our payment was non refundable but mostly there wasn’t any where else to stay in the small town. We had to change our room because the first one didn’t have any soap, and the drapes were falling off the rail, then the TV didn’t work. The second room was not great but it did have soap, working drapes, and a working TV. The bed looked clean and was okay comfort wise but in the middle of the night loud rock and roll music was blaring down the hall from our room for a very long time. We got up super early and left asap. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. It was a horrible experience.

What truly made the experience special was the kind and welcoming personnel — everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The service was genuine small-town hospitality at its best. Great location for travelers heading to or from the national park. I would definitely stay here again!
