"Overall a nice hotel, friendly staff, clean, only thing that was a little bit unfortunate was the parking situation in our case since there was some type of convention and there were two people who parked in the middle of two parking spots and ruined it for everyone else. The other thing was that we heard everything that was going on in our hallway and adjoining room."

"Our stay at this sweet, historic little cabin could not have been better. The hosts were friendly and helpful, cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and the surroundings were quiet, rustic, and beautiful. Be sure to read about the history of the place, and the "healing spring," in the building where you check in, and save time for a morning walk along the creek. And yes, the water is delicious. For less than the cost of a hotel room in Boone, we had the most restful and restorative night and morning of our trip. So glad we found this gem in the mountains."

"Exceptionally clean, well maintained motel with a quiet setting. Rooms are spacious. Short drive to Virginia Creeper trailhead in town for an AM jog. This is my second stay at Alpine Motel, and I will definitely book again when in the Abingdon area."

"We had a wonderful time. The inside was absolutely beautiful. We were not lacking for anything. The host and hostesses were very nice and we really did enjoy our stay and slept like babies. The only thing I have a suggestion about is that when you first pull up it does not have any curb appeal which may turn people off. You wouldn't know that it was a bed and breakfast from the outside"
