Yes, older hotel, but clean, friendly check in and close to everything. I’ve stayed here twice now and the river view was perfect!

The rooms are dated and needs attention. I generally stay there because it is some of the most affordable accommodation in a very overpriced Whitehorse.

It was a good stay and very accessible to several places to eat and shop. It’s an older hotel but was worth the cost.

Very expensive for the quality. The downtown location is convenient, but the hotel is older and quite dated. There were also intoxicated people outside approaching guests for money and cigarettes. Overall, the price didn’t match the hotel's quality or our experience.

The stay here was okay. You can definitely tell it’s an older building, and the rooms are showing their age. But the owners are working on some remodeling. The only thing that would have been better in the room was a lamp on the other side of the room, not just the small one by the door. The staff were great and super helpful.

Super sufficient budget hotel. The view of the river and the mountains makes up for the aging building. The staff was great--very helpful, polite and responsive.

No one could answer questions about where to park a big truck and trailer. No microwave in our room but staff helped us find one. Dirty clothes under bed from past guests. Bathroom needed a deep clean

This place is well past its prime. The bathroom was peeling and gross, the floors were beat up and had soft spots. No a/c. The heater in the bathroom wasn’t connected to the thermostat in the room so it ran hot all night and couldn’t be turned off. The bed and pillows were both a 1/10. When we went to check out, there was just no one anywhere at the property. We eventually just left the key on the desk.

Under new management, one can see that improvements are being made continuously. Most important for us - the beds are new (not super quality but firm and gave good sleeps). The rooms are simple but clean and neat. The staff is friendly and helpful - one of the cleaners has been singing softly all morning. The hotel is situated on the riverfront and it was a pleasure waking up each morn to a view of the river, the far bank and mountains, and the well-used walkway. A lot of gift shops, museums and restaurants are within walking distance.
