The hotel and rooms were very nice. Our only complaints are that the woman who checked us in was not very friendly and the bathroom sink could have been cleaner... Also, online it said that the fee for a dog was $25, but when we got there they said it was $30. I told the woman who checked us in about that and she laughed at me.

The breakfast is amazing, I couldn’t believe all the choices and cleanliness of the area. The pool was nice, the kids enjoyed it. Good stay and helpful staff.

The desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The room clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The only thing that was hard was getting a room receipt to turn in for expense reimbursement, as you were told to go to the Expedia website to find your receipt.

Love the hotel and location

It was great. Susan was very friendly at check in, as we got there fairly late. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was really good. Room was clean and spacious. The pool was in good condition and not over clorinated. The breakfeast good as well. Only downside was that street was being worked on by the hotel and it was very muddy. Overall, great and would stay here again!

There is currently construction on the main street in Wheatland. However, we found ways around all of that for the most part. This property is very well maintained, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This place used to be the best place to stay in Wheatland. There used to be cookies, water upon check-in. Seems new ownership may have different vision? Not hard to shine in Wheatland…. Clean and fix your ev chargers, (destination chargers for guests) bring back simple things. A clean room and basic things would be good. No ice and no water offered is odd. Breakfast was what you would expect. Also all but one charger spot taken by non ev guests.

New Management Needed

First impression- three employees smoking in the carport, one of which was the manager. A few days after our stay, I saw they charged my card a rate nearly $90 higher than our checkout receipt. Shower faucet was broken, as well as the bathroom light switch. Property and room was extremely clean. All staff was super friendly except two were noticeably lacking in hospitality, including the manager.

Great stop, clean hotel, clean property, everyone was nice. All size trucks and trailers park on the road. I was a bit skeptical as I haul precious antique furniture and collectible items so always skeptical when this happens. Everything turned out good with no problem. Thank you Heartland Inn, it was a pleasure to stay at your little town. O ya the little dog in the morning was a perfect way to start the day. Was awesome!!!
