"Lovely old world character pub, cheap beer, lively sports / music, good breakfast, friendly staff, ideal for short stay in local area. Room basic but clean & decent enough for my needs as a 1 night stay, comfortable bed, good water power in shower which was lovely to cool down and clean up in after a day in the hot weather. Of note in deciding to book a stay: pub was lively so could be a bit too noisy for some later at night, no aircon in accommodation (but a fan to waft the hot air around is...
"Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Didnt try the restaurant in the evening however the Sunday roast/carvery is very good. Hotel could do with a little updating to bring it into the 2020s

"Great location at tip of Esplanade. Somewhat older and worn guesthouse, could do with a refresh such as carpets. No fans in room (A/C not expected) but fridge was an excellent surprise.

"Stayed here as needed to stay in or around Weymouth. Quite frankly, the fee paid for the room was poor value. The hotel was clean, but dated. The rooms need renewing. That said, all the hotels in Weymouth were extremely expensive so it wasn’t anymore than any of the others, which is why I ended up staying here anyway… not sure if there was an event or something in the area at that time pushing up prices…"
