「Was really good stay, clean and a lovely spacious room, exactly what we needed. Long weekend prices quite expensive tho, note it is a share accomodation but everything’s as if it were a hotel and you have your own private space. Could use the front door lock on the main building to be fixed, got caught several times not being able to get out and felt like we were waking other guests up.」

「The Grange on Calgan Farm is placed on beautiful grounds with views over the Kalgan River. It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog. 「I haven’t received the check in details at the time I arrived the property, and it is around 8pm and there is no staff staying there. My phone is not able to,call the property staff to ask for the check in so we knocked the door of one guest room and ask the guest helped us calling to the staff. Luckily we got a friendly guest and reached the staff via phone and finally our check in is success. Otherwise we can’t imagine where we can stay at that night. Btw the room is good, well decorated…」

「Our stay was very enjoyable the pool was very welcoming on a hot day Carmen the owner was lovely and very accommodating she was a pleasure to meet and I would recommend the Spanish lodge to everyone who loves pets as we had a small dog that Carmen welcomed superbly.」
