「This was a great place: spotless room, possibly the largest quadruple room we've ever stayed in. The bathroom was lovely, the room was modern and comfortable. The staff were very nice, the breakfast ample. Once upon a time, this house must have had a lovely view across the valley, it is becoming industrialised around it, but it's still quiet and peaceful. Do not check in before 5. They really aren't open. If the restaurant isn't open then there are some nice restaurants in Hausach. 」

「This is a hotel you'll want to return to. The location is superb, right in the heart of the Black Forest. The rooms are very comfortable, with balconies and views of the mountains and forest. They have everything you need, except for the minibar. The breakfast is fantastic, with the option of ordering egg dishes. A wide selection of cheeses, sausages, vegetables, and fruits is available.
