"Loved our stay here, Martin at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, it was very spacious and had a balcony. The room was updated and modern. The breakfast was okay at best, very basic selection. There is pay parking in the underground garage or limited free parking in front of hotel. The hotel is a bit of a hike from the town centre, there is a short cut but it is very steep and not for the faint of heart. Room had kettle with basic coffee/tea supplies which was...

"in hornberg...a ways from triberg....very nice small hotel...and a great resturant next door run by the same people who run the hotel...ate dinner 2 of 3 nights and the food was good both times...highly recomend"

"Good place and excellent staff"

"This is an exceptional property in the beautiful Black Forest. It is a newer property with good sized comfortable rooms, an exceptional breakfast, and great hiking within steps of the hotel. I also appreciated how close it was to the train station. Highly recommend."

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast has a good choice and the evening meals of big portions and excellent value. We will certainly be back. It's a short walk to the station where you can use the free public transport within the region."

"Easy and convenient hotel "

"Perfect spot, great breakfast and large 5 person room"

"The host were wonderful. It was a beautiful hotel. "

"The rooms were very nice, and the attached restaurant was great. The staff was a delight to deal with and the waitress was amazing. If travelling to Triberg, this is definitely a short distance alternative to staying in Triberg."

"This was one of our favourite hotel stays ever! Beautiful wood panelled lodge set into the hills of the Black Forest. The room was spotless and the food at dinner and breakfast was faultless too. The service was friendly throughout. The view from the beer garden alone is worth coming for. 10/10 P.s. It’s a personal preference thing but I like to have two pillows. There was only one in the room so do ask at the desk if you prefer two"

"Great room. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very clean. Safe and quiet. There is not much else or good food options in the surrounding area. The pillows need some firming up but we loved this place and the lovely hosts. I would stay again."
