Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). "Great location having Woolacombe and Ilfracombe 10 minutes either side. Nice small park, with a shop and pub serving food and drinks. Kids play park and jumbo chess went down well. The Lodge itself is nice, the hot tub being a welcomed luxury after long days exploring. As many have said, the decking/railing needs replacing as its patched up in places and worn. Otherwise, its a lovely place, clean, very usable spaces and well equipped. We loved it!"
