The room hotel was very nice. The parking lot was very icy and snowy and the indoor hot tub had a lot of chlorine odor coming from it so we couldn't use that because we had a baby and it was too much smelling like chlorine. Great location though to go skiing
The bar tender in the lounge on Saturday 10/18 was not friendly. Seemed like he didn’t like his job. He was the only one working and there were not many customers at the bar. Dining room had no one in it. He just was not attentive to me party of 3 who just wanted to order a drink. Fitness center at the Season was very nice but hours were not very accommodating
Property was perfect for our family of 3. Close to mount snow. You can take shuttle or drive less than 2 min drive. We like to park at carinthia. This unit was updated could use some better cookware but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Cute small 1 bedroom. Perfect for our ski trip. It's not a ski on ski off but you are .10 of a mile from parking. Condo was a bit out dated and the futon/sleeper sofa was thig and uncomfortable but otherwise was perfect.

The property was nice and good location but NO HOT WATER! FOR SHOWERS OR TO DO DISHES
The hotel room we reserved was for a condo. The condo was full of mold and dust. The fan sounded like it was going to fall off of the ceiling when turned on. The blankets and pillows smelled horrible. The heat was off when we arrived and the place was freezing.
This property was not at all what we expected. The picture advertised did not even represent the condo building that we stayed in. We are extremely disappointed. We booked a two bedroom King size bed and Queen & were shocked to find the second small room stuffed with a double size bunk bed with a trundle that stuck out because it didn't fit underneathe and a twin size bed. We found the condo cluttered with broken furniture and full of dog hair, floors dirty, nonfunctioning wifi, broken windows, musty smell, stained and worn out carpets & stained old sheets. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cuttlery etc. however the drawers and cabinets were not cleaned adequately. This was not what we would expect from an Expedia advertised property.

Avoid!
Disappointing. The condo was extremely dated. The kitchen was newer but the bathroom was tiny, dark and old. The shower/tub was chipped and there was a rusty old medicine cabinet type mirror and old linoleum floors. The bathroom sink had very low pressure…(difficult to wash your face) and there was minimal hot water in the sink. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding did not seem fresh. There was little room to hang anything in the closets because they were stuffed with old pillows and linens. I don’t think there was air conditioning, if there was, we couldn’t figure out how to use it. This place might be ok as a crash pad for a ski weekend but we were in VT for a wedding in August.
Also the wifi was terrible and only supported one device at a time. My husband and I could not both have internet access at the same time.

We have stayed at the Grand Summit Hotel many times. It is always lovely with attentive staff however since Vail Resorts, took over it is not the same. The communication is lacking and many of the previous amenities are gone. I do not know if this due to Covid or not but does appear that Vails primary goal is to make money not provide superior customer service.

I was at this hotel about 16- 18 and the owners never updated the unit that I had- it was drab and looked like yard sale furniture; but it was clean and sufficient. The hotel is very convenient -ski in and out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The deli within was meager but that could be because of COVID. I will definitely return.
