"I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The best part is we arrived earlier then check-in (among many other travellers) and they allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready, allowing us to explore Wengen luggage free. They even did the same at check-out, could leave our luggage. The breakfast was also delicious and I highly suggest paying the extra to have it included in your stay!"
"Absolutely stunning views and bar. Impeccably maintained old world charm. All of the staff was attentive and lovely. The breakfast buffet filled me up for a day of hiking and easy access to the trains."
"We stayed in a Junior Suite with 2 Terraces for reference. Since the main point of being in Switzerland is to get out and enjoy the mountains the room isn't as important. This hotel has one main selling point, location and proximity to the Interlaken West train platform. It is essentially on the platform so you walk out of the hotel and onto the train. Only downside is most of restaurants and areas of interest are on the other side of the town. Not that there is a huge gap, probably about a 20 minute walk, or simply take the train from West to East. Bonus is if you are heading back toward Thun, Zermatt, Zurich etc you are already on the correct side of town. Included breakfast was great, plenty to choose from as it was a large buffet. I would recommend staying here."

8/10 Good
"The location was great, so close to the train station. The property is lovely. The breakfast was very good. We were disappointed that the spa was closed. We needed more electrical plugs in our room. Wengen is beautiful!"
"We love the place. It has great charm. It is not for those who want the finest of accoutrements - it is more a creaky-old-ski-chalet in style (which we adore). Wonderful location. My only caveat is that if you plan to stay and have your windows open for the amazing Alpine air, then make sure your room is in the front of the hotel (facing the main street). Out back there is some sort of generator of compressor that cycles on and off constantly day and night. When it cycles on it sounds like an old electric alarm clock that then morphs into a loud hum. We found that we couldn't sleep at night without ear plugs."
"The mountain view’s were out of this world. The bedroom was spotless, the bed was so comfy and the shower had amazing water pressure. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall an absolute lovely stay."
