This was a fabulous room. Nice, crisp, comfy, white sheets and bedding. Great bathroom and kitchen. Close to restaurants, the wharf, and shopping. Just a short walk to the Cable Car. So far, the best place we've stayed on our trip to New Zealand.

In each apartment, we have coffee, tea, toiletries, washing powder, tissues etc to name a few, that is complimentary for our guests. Unfortunately we do not have onsite dining however we do offer chargebacks to some local restaurants that are in walking distance of our location. It was centrally located and we were able to walk to the train station easily. I was close to the harbour and other attractions. We were very satisfied with our accommodations. The only improvement we could suggest was a softer mattress on the bed as it was quite firm. The front desk staff were very helpful and they laughed at my corny Canadian Dad jokes 👍

Overall our stay at Quest was great. Good value for money, spotlessly clean (immaculate), high quality amenities, excellent and very fast customer service, very quiet and private room with a view of the city (we requested the room has a view as we heard that some don't). The only thing lacking was any kind of restaurant/food service aside from a very basic and pricey continental breakfast. The weather was terrible while we were there, and we definitely would have made use of room service if there'd been some options. Instead we ordered uber eats, and met the driver at the hotel door (we weren't sure he'd be able to find reception as it's located in the 4th floor and the main doors are locked at night, making it a little tricky). There were only a couple of minor things that we didn't like: 1. The heat pump faced the bed and blew cold air directly onto it, so we had to turn it off at night. We couldn't find a good temperature for the room using the heat pump, it was either too cold or too hot. But when we turned it off (after heating or cooling a little bit), the room would keep the temperature well. 2. There was a ventilation system going continuously and I personally found the sound a little annoying, but nothing terrible. 3. The first thing I wanted to do when we arrived was open the window to let in some fresh air, but I found it locked shut. Personally I'd rather not breathe aircon air, it dries out the nasal passages and skin. However it was tolerable for a short trip.

Whilst you appreciated your overall stay with us, we are sorry for some of the service shortfalls you experienced. We are taking steps to address the points you have brought up. Unfortunately, with the windows in the apartments, it cannot be opened and is for service use only however we do provide ventilation in the rooms and a heat pump for air circulation. We hope we have an opportunity to welcome you back on your next visit to the capital.

The pleasant herbal smell of upon entrance to the reception area was delightful. The room was spotless. The selection of teas and coffes were a treat along with delicious gourmet cookies. The kitchen was fully stocked. The management and staff were so helpful and made you feel welcomed.

Comfortable luxurious and modern boutique hotel with an excellent downtown location right on Lambton Quay. Two minute walk to the cable car and near the waterfront with excellent restaurants (try Charlie Noble).

It was awsome place to walking around the CBD in Wellington. 5min to the warf, 1 10min to Te papa museum. So convenient to shopping and dining. Thank to the nice coffee at reception ;)

Fantastic location and has everything you need! I absolutely loved this hotel. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. Also after almost two weeks in New Zealand, I was about to do laundry with the in unit washer and dryer watch was awesome. Truly felt like a home away from home.

We love the Quest properties and this one was no exception. Amazing staff, great location, well appointed room, modern, quiet, clean, comfortable bed, full kitchen and we even had laundry in the suite that we were in. If you do not have in room laundry they typically have free laundry in a common room. We would stay here again!

Good stay, clean and tidy, had good amenities. Good location for wellington CBD, easy to walk around. Bed was pretty firm, a little uncomfortable but other than that we had a comfortable stay.

This has got to be one of the best hotels in Wellington. The room facilities are superb, with a dishwasher and washer/dryer as well as excellent cooking facilities. We loved it here!

A little difficult to spot, particularly when you are first approaching by car. There is an area in the street outside that you can use whilst unloading and checking in, and then you need to arrange car parking with the hotel in a separate place. We were in a Studio apartment, and this is a true apartment hotel in the proper sense of the name. The room was very spacious, had a fully equipped kitchenette, with a hob, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, etc, a washer/drier, and a dining table. The hotel is in an ideal position in the heart of the city, with the cable car on the doorstep, the railway station a 5/10 minute walk, a supermarket within a 5 minute walk, and the Queen’s Wharf/Seafront only a couple of blocks away.

We stayed for a few days and our stay with Quest 256 Lambtom was hassle-free. The hotel common areas and our room was clean and tidy. I also appreciated the complimentary espresso and tea. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is convenient too with lots of restaurants and dining options within walking distance from the hotel. The cable car is also just a few metres away.
