「Very disappointing stay. The room smelled horrible, and check-in wasn’t even handled on-site—we had to go down the street to another motel to check in.
The biggest concern was that the smoke detector in our room was wrapped in plastic, which appeared to make it nonfunctional. 「A wonderful home right in the lap of nature soaking in beautiful Mount Shasta. We spent a most relaxing and rejuvenating weekend in Basecamp lodge. Being vegetarians, we were able to come back after our day long trek and cook nice meals using the well equipped kitchen. Provisions easily purchased from the nearby supermarket, Ray’s food place is a great option 10 min away. The cabin had an elegant design with a good working TV and internet :). A perfect getaway for a couple or a small family!」
