A beautiful community run resort on a stunning island. Delicious food, great activities and comfortable traditional rooms. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taught us lots about island life. 10/10 recommend!
Very nice accommodation, especially for a small budget. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Food was good but I preferred Fijian dishes instead of the international meals.
Large reef directly at the beach. Reef shark snorkelling is an absolute recommendation and scuba diving with Sau from the island‘s diving school Yasawa Tropical Diver as well.
The Sunrise / Sunset hike is great, too.
Our Bure was clean and well maintained, it even had mosquito nets.
Food price is 80 FJD/day, meals are served buffet style.
I would absolutely recommend to stay at Waya Lailai.
The bure was nice and clean, and the food was really good. However, the internet here is very weak, so if you need reliable internet for work, there are better options available.
The staff was nice, but not as friendly as at other resorts or homestays.
Note: We came to this island to swim with the sharks, but unfortunately, they don't offer any activities on Sundays.
Beautiful place and wonderful people/staff. Looking forward to staying again sometime.

Great food. The place could do with an upgrade to the general infrastructure with improvements to buildings, stairs, walkways etc and a general cleanup.
Wayalailai is a great place. Its lunch was better than Barefoot Manta.
Avoid staying a Sunday because there are no activities.
We snorkled with reef sharks, but would have scuba if Dive Master was present. We stayed 2 nights.
DO NOT BOOK YOUR STAY ON HOTELS.COM. They will not have your reservation when you show up. Luckily the host is very accommodating and found room for me (I had to stay one night at the next door resort though). Overall, this is a very social, friendly, active resort. If you’re looking for a fancy hotel with hot water this is not the place for you. But there was so much to do (diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking). Met great people and had great food. Would recommend but just do not book via hotels.com
Experiencia maravilhosa. Quartos em frente ao mar.
Pessoas simpáticas. Comida boa e variada todos os dias.
Refeições às 8:00, 12:00, 15:00 e 19:00 (80 FJD por dia).
Fiz visita à aldeia (40 JFD) e subi ao Rochedo (30 JFD).
Amazing culture, well-maintained accommodation (Double Bed Room), Sea and Coconut Tree Facing.
I definitely recommend this.

Unglaublich warmherzige Menschen
