"Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden exceeded our expectations. The rooms -- with all having an amazing view -- provides a very efficient use of space. The breakfast buffet is outstanding -- offering an array of delicious items. And the service staff was top notch. And you can't find a better location to the popular attractions. "A beautiful hotel with stunning mountain views. The staff were friendly and the hotel had a lovely cabin vibe to it. I would say the interior definitely needs a refurbishment as it’s very dated, also air conditioning would be amazing as it’s so hot in the summer. Although dated, it does give it some charm.
