「This is a beautiful little spot about a 20-minute walk from downtown Paramaribo. I also stayed downtown, and can surely say I much prefer being away from the noise and crowds of the city center. Villa Famiri is in a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. You can also walk to downtown though it's not a nice walk (no sidewalks, lots of trash and standing water, lots of traffic). They have a lovely common area and pool so it's great for relaxing. 「This was a lovely stay. Many larger hotels were sold out and I was travelling for business so I went here. It was an excellent choice! It’s a well run business with great service, nice snacks for order, an excellent breakfast, and a convenient location. I will stay again!」

「Le mobilier était vétuste et abîmé. La suite sentait le renfermé, nous avons dû ouvrir toutes les fenêtres pour aérer. Nous avons dû demander après 3 jours que certaines pièces soient balayées. Pas moyen d’avoir des vêtements lavés car soit la personne en charge état trop occupée ou parce qu’une machine ne fonctionnait pas. 」

「Very nice renovated hotel in colonial building. Nice grounds, quiet, staff very helpful, comfortable room, good breakfast. A few restaurants nearby, tourist sights about 10-13 min walk. Nice balcony and the pool and bar area very relaxing. 」
