The Melrose is my favorite place to stay in DC. It is located in close proximity to everything you want to see and do. The hotel is beautifully appointed, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, and the staff is exceptional. I don't bother staying anywhere else.

Only cons were: --TV wasn't working when I arrived, but it was fixed within 12 hours of reporting --hot water supply seemed to struggle in the mornings --I couldn't get my room as cold as I wanted, but it was still pretty good
