had to stand around waiting for help with check in for a good long time , there is no parking had to pay for valet parking , staff not friendly at all. DO NOT STAY HERE. WIFI didn't work and the lights in our room kept going out ?? very confused about that.... staff didn't offer a good morning or thank you for staying not a good hotel go find better I feel I got tricked by the name Hilton

Clean room, great breakfasts and perfect location for metro proximity. Housekeeping was not the best. Frequently needed to ask for towels and basic supplies. Overall good value for money and friendly staff.

Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay during our first visit to D.C. The location was ideal - close to Nationals Park, metro stop across the street, cool views, plenty of options for food/drink/shopping nearby. Our 2 queen suite worked well for our little family to share space (and rest our feet at the end of the day). We felt very safe at all times and enjoyed utilizing lounge/rooftop spaces in the evenings. The staff - to a person - were pleasant and helpful. Had some great conversations and received recommendations for other activities. The only “negative” was that on our housekeeping day they didn’t refill all of the used items (shower toiletries, coffee supplies, etc). Otherwise I would recommend this location without hesitation and would make this our home base on future visits!

My family and I stayed overnight for an event in DC. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Valet had no issues grabbing my hoodie that I forgot in my vehicle. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Easy access to the metro. To be one of the cheaper options for DC hotels, Homewood Suites goes well beyond to provide a comfortable stay in the city.

Good place
I had a pleasant experience with all team. But specially the breakfast. It was very good! With a bunch of options. My one concern is about the pool. It was no heated and also the time for use it could start a little be earlier not 10:00am. But overall was fantastic!

The staffs are very friendly and polite. Our room was very clean however the pillows smelled like sweat. I saw dog feces by the entrance of the elevator (fortunately the staff took care of it in a timely manner) and also dogs were allowed in the dining area which was very uncomfortable for me and my family. I feel like they should limit or prevent dog or pet owners from entering the breakfast lounge with them.

The staff had poor customer service. The front desk staff was rude. I asked for additional towels for the pool and he rudely asked me if I had towels in my room. This is the same person I spoke with hours prior for room service and he told me that they do not work as quickly as I would like.

Great and beautiful locationand property. Front desk staff and parking attendant could have been friendlier and customer service focused. The botel food options and products was very limited. Also, why is there tax added for valet parking, I've never heard of that.

Unfortunately, the parking tax is an item managed by the District of Columbia that requires it for all hotel and other businesses. This is an item that we cannot omit.

A Sweet Stay in DC
This was our second time to stay at Homewood Suites Washington DC Capitol-Navy Yard. It's the perfect location for us because of proximity to metro which connects us easily to wherever we want to go. There are restaurants and stores nearby to get groceries for week-long stay. Breakfast provided by HS was excellent...fresh, warm with daily variety. The BEST part of this whole experience is the people who manage and take care of this facility. From the time we walked in to the time we departed, EVERY encounter with employees was warm and cheerful. Thank you, Homewood Suites!
