Fantastic lodge great location and Charlotte the host was great. The log fire was wonderful to come into after a cold walk around Wanaka. We decided to take a dip in the spar pool and with the stars and full moon glowing it was a perfect end to our stay. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Outstanding location and service

Idyllic setting...farm B&B...mountain views...professional hostess with a helpful attitude...10 minutes to Wanaka..7 minutes to the airport...walk to a hike on the Clutha River...highly recommend.

Lovely, Peaceful Setting

Maple Lodge is a lovely, peaceful haven set in beautiful grounds just a short drive from Wanaka. Our room opened up to a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance and the sugar maple trees on the grounds. Breakfast was delicious.

The place looks new, its very comfy. Super clean. Lots of light. The hostess was very friendly, the garden is beautiful, they also have a hot tub which we did not have time to use but would have been fun. The bedroom was good. Breakfast table is fun for exchanging stories and meeting people. Food was good. Quick drive to Wanaka. Good parking area.

Perfect setting

We loved every minute of our stay at Maple Lodge. The setting is absolutely fabulous, almost idyllic. The layout has been very well planned with wonderful views to the snowcapped mountains from all the rooms. Our room was perfect, clean and comfortable with an excellent shower, all the facilities we needed and a lovely patio. Charlotte is a perfect host, nothing is too much trouble, and she cooks a superb breakfast. A great place to stay and we look forward to our next visit.

Amazing place!

Amazing place to base yourself to go snowboarding or to visit the local sites! Hosts were very knowledgable about the local area and friendly. The breakfast each morning was so nice and fresh as it was made to order!

An excellent find

We only booked this hotel the night before we arrived when we discovered that we had a rather long drive and it would make sense to split the journey. Upon our arrival we were shown to our very tidy, well presented room and offered tea and scones. The decor was well co-ordinated, lovely and clean. All the usuals were there - complimentary soap, shower gel, shampoo etc. We agreed that it was an excellent find after a very quick internet search. The only criticism was that the portion size of the breakfast was small.

Nice bed and breakfast

Stayed for seven nights in August 2016 to ski and see the area. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about the town and surroundings.

quiet location away from town

a very nice, relaxed stay with hosts paul and berni providing a friendly welcome, helpful advice throughout the duration of the time there on places to visit, activities to persue,resraurants, cafes, walking, cycling, a host of great ideas, or just relax with a book or go in hot tub, have a beer, wine on site, walk the well stocked gardens and woodland walks. highly recommend for a comfortable, relaxed stay and town is only a short taxi ride away

Fantastic lodge with stunning views

Lovely B&B and a great base for exploring nearby Wanaka. Stayed two nights at this fantastic lodge with stunning views all round. The hosts were extremely helpful in recommending trips and places to eat. Good choice of breakfast available (hot and cold) and complimentary afternoon tea served daily is a lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Alpine retreat

Stunning views of the Alps surrounding this area make for a magic morning view from your room. Fabulous breakfast and wonderful hosts. Comfy room and bed. I do like a fridge in room so that was the only thing missing. Not really even noticed though in the beautiful surrounds.
