Staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. At check in immediately felt welcome. We travelled with our large breed dog and she was embraced by all the staff. Our dog friendly room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The hotel had a relaxed feel and more than met our hope for a stress free getaway. As the weather has been exceptionally warm, we really appreciated that outdoor seating areas, well into the evening. Hotel perfectly situated in a friendly village, surrounded by easily accessible great walks Really good value for money, would most definitely book to stay again

We had an amazing night staying in the deluxe suite and it was spectacular. The room in the accommodations could not have been better. The staff in the bar, restaurant and hotel were all very nice and happy to help in any request that we had. Food restaurant was great and the atmosphere was terrific – definitely check out the Abbey directly across the street.
