Very shabby paintwork outside & inside, needs some TLC Food was lovely apart from rubbery scrambled eggs! Room had plenty of space & very comfy bed. Great shower. Very surprised at having to pay on arrival, seems they didn't trust us!!!

Review:This hotel boasts a beautiful riverside location and offers a warm welcome, with friendly staff who were particularly helpful in resolving issues I encountered. My room was clean, and the bathroom was pleasant. The weather was warm, and the room was equipped with a fan. I had a comfortable night's sleep in the bed. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a good quality buffet with a variety of juices, cereals, and breads, along with a cooked selection and great-tasting coffee.However, the hotel is showing its age and could benefit from a refurbishment. The carpets are worn, and the doors lacked proper handles. While the location and staff were definite positives, a general update is needed to bring the hotel up to modern standards.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Room 38 was clean and a good size. Shower great, water always hot. Food and drink was of good quality. Pleasant staff. Check in easy. Hotel being updated so communal areas a bit tired. Nevertheless, we would stay here again

Service is very friendly and food is good. I had a decent room, very affordable and in good condition. However, I stayed during a raining episode though and in a room directly under the roof. I had rats running like crazy most night and they were very load (maybe chased) kept me up most of the night. I usually like this hotel, bit this happened the last night of my stay and it probably won't make me come back.

The brilliant staff offer a warm and friendly welcome and serve the most delicious breakfast menu. We were very impressed that they were able to cater for our child, who has a dairy allergy. The family accommodation was warm and had a lovely view of the river and scenic bridge. Beds were comfortable, but we were disappointed with the cleanliness of our accommodation upon arrival. Management dealt with our complaint speedily, and to their credit, offered a partial refund by way of an apology. Overall, this was a lovely place to stay due to the staff and menu.

I hate doing bad reviews so let’s start with the positive. It’s a nice location. Staff I met were pleasant. The whole place is tired threadbare carpets, peeling paint a bed that sags where people sit and tie shoelaces. Clean but so so tired. I won’t be going back.

Room was comfortable. Plenty towels and shampoo etc. Good food. Reception staff helpful. Lovely view of the Thames. Could do with hooks behind the door to hang coats on and a few coat hangers in the wardrobe! Inside of cupboard, very dusty.
