National Cycle Network route 1 The minor road along the southern bank of the River Tweed is used by route 1 between Newcastle and Edinburgh. A very attractive road with fine river and forest scenery and little traffic. Passing Elibank, looking westward.

The building and location are beautiful and staff were truly lovely and so helpful. The bedroom was thoughtfully done and the bed was comfy. The bathroom is in need of a renovation, tired, grout etc was stained.
