Well done

Our first night experienced no air conditioning so the next day before we headed out for the day to watch the Jays play, we advised the front desk and they said they would have someone look at our air conditioning and if they couldn’t fix it, would give us another room. Upon our return the Front desk was unaware of any attempts to fix so sent someone up to look at it again all while us being tired and ready for bed nearing midnight. The tech was very nice but could not fix so we were finally given another room. This was all happening during a heat wave end of June/beginning of July so you can imagine how hot our room was and how we were very inconvenienced not getting a good night sleep the first night and having to wait up late the second night to finally get a room with working air conditioning. Front desk couldn’t give us a refund but would talk to the manager about it. The manager has not reached out yet. Suffice to say, we will not be staying there again in the future.

Great location - we walked to almost everything and public transit (which is amazing in Toronto) was right outside the door. From our corner room, we could see both the city and Lake Ontario. Staff was wonderful and the hotel restaurant/bar was a great place to watch the World Cup games while eating dinner. The Daily Ritual had excellent breakfast options, which we enjoyed while sitting at a table outside and doing some people-watching in Toronto's diverse environment.
