Was the worst hotel i have stayed, for the price you would think was kept up better, rooms smelled like animals, carpet soiled, it sets next to truck stop, so all night all you hear are deisel engines running, check in was rude and didnt speak english, most all the comfort inn and days in are run by same people who dont have the same standars as other chains, would avoid this peoperty and travel extra few mile to Davenport where there are nicer chain hotels that keep better care of their property.

I had 2 gym bags to bring into my room and the guy at the reception desk forced me into payng an additional $15 per bag. I have never experienced that before and would like an explanation. I paid the $30 with the same credit card I used to pay for the stay. If the $30 is not refunded, Comfort Inn will be losing me as a customer.

Very disappointed in this hotel. Our carpet was sticky in our room, the light wouldn’t turn on in the bathroom for about 30 seconds and the vent in the bathroom was extremely loud. The AC unit was also very loud and the room smelled moldy.

You get what you pay for. The hotel is old and smells like it. Linen and towels are old and worn as well. Breakfast has meat and eggs but that’s the only advantage it has over the hotel next door. I believe the price for this hotel should be lower for what it actually provides. Everything about this hotel screams save every penny at the expense of their guests. It’s an unfortunate trend that seems to be spreading across hotel chains. Only plus is the polite staff. I probably won’t stay here again unless the facilities are improved.

room was clean and had plenty of coffee, shampoo/conditioner, towels, soap in room. It was clean. Only complaint was pool. The water was cold, and the windows between it and a lounge area next to the pool area was broken. It also was very dark in there and water looked kind of greenish. We didn’t swim in it. Breakfast was fine- waffles, sausage, egg and cheese omelets, cereal, yogurt, toast, apples. Location is across street from largest truck stop, and across parking lot from another family style restaurant . Truck stop had wendy’s, pizza hut, starbucks, a large buffet restaurant and a couple other places inside, so plenty of dining options nearby
