"This is our second time staying at Maui Sunset. It is a great complex in a central location to explore Maui. We were there during a bad storm which limited what we could do but communication from the office and maintenance team was good and we had an enjoyable stay considering the circumstances. The first time we stayed the unit had a lot more supplies like a cooler, beach blanket, pool noodles etc, this time was more limited, I suppose it depends on the unit owners. Overall a family friendly place with a nice ocean view and pool. "

"We were stranded in Maui due to severe flooding, and unfortunately the agency representatives were unreachable despite multiple attempts to contact them. We were without power or road access for two days and had no access to proper food—surviving on only bread and water for approximately 36 hours. Despite the circumstances, the booking was not even extended. We were forced to vacate the apartment while floodwater was present and spent nearly 36 hours at the airport, as no other hotels were available. To reach the airport, we had to walk nearly a mile carrying our luggage, as the area was flooded with approximately two feet of water. Overall, this was an extremely distressing experience and a clear failure of customer support. The lack of assistance during an emergency was unacceptable and left a very negative impression of our time in Maui."

"Our stay was very nice! This is definitely a motel and not a hotel, but we were very comfortable. The pool was full of plant debris and the hot tub was cold, so we did not use those unfortunately. It was very nice to have beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas provided! The shower towels provided were the cheapest, thinnest, smallest towels I have ever been provided; consider bringing your own! House cleaning was advertised, but it was cancelled over half the time due to staff shortages. This was very disappointing as we stayed for awhile and it was very difficult to keep the sandiness under control after spending the day at the beach. The beach across the street was incredible! We loved being able to just walk across the street and watch the sunset!"

"The condo was very clean, loved all of the decor, was very beautiful. Had everything you could possibly need in kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely stay again! Everyone we talked to was very nice and helpful! "
