「We were told that check in was until 8pm, no exceptions. So we organized our entire day to ensure we were there by 8pm. An hour later, reception was checking in somebody else, so clearly exceptions were made for some, but not us. Didn't leave us with a good feeling. Location is not walking distance to any coffee shop (meaning 10 min walk or less). 「The room was spotless. The hotel clerk wouldn’t upgrade the room to seaside even though the hotel was basically vacant, and offered to pay more. Breakfast was delicious, and fresh. The dining room staff were amazing. I’ll be back. Thank you 」
