「We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....

The hotel is mostly made of two storey villas and there's also a main building with seaview. If you don't want to hire a car, there's a bus stop 300 meters up on the road to go to Chania. 「I love this hotel and enjoyed my stay here so much! The location is perfect, just within 3 mins walking distance to the old Venetian harbour and nearby attractions. The room was modern designed and decorated. I especially loved the bathroom as the shower area was the spacious one I’ve ever seen.
