"It has been the best accomodation environment during my trip to Taiwan. The forest and streams of valleys around hotel and hotel design were all beautiful. In particular, the kindness of young owner and his parents were so kind with warm heart. Young owner's english was so fluent that I had no problem comunicating with him. "Our stay at Lifu Garden Inn was fantastic. The host is so kind and helpful. We arrived low on gas and they helped us fill up from a local nearby since the gas station there is not yet completed. The drive up to Lifu is incredible. What an amazing place to live. The restaurants are about 3 min up the road and are all delicious and the views are unbelievable with the fog rolling around on the mountains. "The hotel reception staff were friendly and doing their best. And since the hotel is old, it appears to be a 2-star or 2.5-star facility. The worst thing was that the lady in charge of breakfast was very unpleasant.

"The service was top notch. All the citizens employees spoke English very well. The room was clean with a nice view of the river. Ximending was a 5 min walk. MRT is a 3-4 minute walk either way. I found most of the meals better than the street food. Taipei City under ground Mall is about a 5 minute walk connected to the MRT main station. I found the food there better than the night market. Breakfast at Citizen M had a variety of western and Asian dishes. I highly recommend this hotel, but I do have some cons about it. If you stay in the higher floors, there’s some random noise that kinda sound like a dog barking every 15-20 mins and it sounds like a person placing a cup down on a counter. The elevator system are not sinked so everyone presses all of the button so when your on the elevator it stops frequently. Other than that it’s an awesome place to stay. "
"We had a nice stay at Cozzi. It is a great hotel for family vacation, nice clean king size beds. Staff was very helpful and efficient when arranging a ride for us to go to the airport. The shopping center downstairs and the outlet mall nearby are definitely a plus. Will stay there again! "
"The stay is great, hospitality services, location transport and food options are good, with washing machine & dryer options too. A little downside i observed is the remote controller sensitivity to the tv, and the towels water absorbent is not as good. Still a great stay nonetheless. Cheers."
"The hotel is really on the high end and we enjoyed our stay there. It is convenient as as such travelling by bus or train was excellent. The hotel dining staff are so helpful, they tried their best to accommodate our needs even with their english & our mandarin language difficulty.

The hotel location was superb, walkable to XiMenDing shopping street and the train station is just downstairs!
The room was super clean and spacious, stayed on the 3rd floor yet couldn’t hear any sounds from outside - making it a restful and comfy stay. Many shelves and tables available in the room as well.
Guest services were helpful and prompt in providing room amenities whenever requested.
One minor downside is that there were only 3 lifts available across 14 floors and the waiting time for them could take a while especially during peak movement hours (e.g checkin/checkout)
Overall, a really good stay at Sotetsu Grand Fresa XiMen and I’d definitely recommend it to friends visiting Taipei. Thank you for the great hospitality!"
