Very nice place. Lovely hosts, beautiful home. The breakfast is basic but the hosts are usually around to chat, which is very nice, they have lots of information about local things to do and in general.

Bed and breakfast de grande qualité

Ce bed and breakfast est vraiment situé à l'extrémité d'une longue impasse. Il comprend un grand salon commun aux deux chambres proposées et donnant accès à la partie privative des hôtes (où sont pris les petit déjeuners). Chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bain individuelle. Les véhicules peuvent être garés facilement à l'entrée de la maison (qui comprend un portail sécurisé) L'hôtesse est très accueillante et prend soin de ses invités. L'ensemble est particulièrement propre et soigné dans un style "vieille Angleterre". Le petit déjeuner continental est préparé à la demande (selon les consignes données la veille). Ce logement est bien adapté aux couples (assez isolé, peu d'activité pour les enfants, ameublement précieux et peu adapté à des activités ludiques dynamiques). Pas de possibilité de manger ou boire sur place (pas de frigo ni cuisine accessible, l'hôtesse nous a toutefois dépanné pour utiliser ponctuellement son frigo). Tout a été parfait. Seule la literie montre quelques signes d'age et mériterait d'être remplacée (elle est toutefois complètement fonctionnelle). L'isolement du logement permet d'échapper à tous les bruits routiers et urbains et permet de se reposer pleinement. La localisation est idéale pour visiter le parc Volcano. Dans le village 5 restaurants permettent de se restaurer à différents budgets (de simple à luxueux).

Die Ausstattung in den Zimmern ist schon etwas älter, aber Sauber. Die Gastgeber Lani und Ray geben jeden Morgen Tips zum Tag und man kann sich gut mit Ihnen unterhalten. Wir können diese Unterkunft jederzeit empfehlen und würde. Diese wieder buchen.

We stayed two nights in the deluxe queen room. The room is very comfortable and (same as the bathroom) exceptionally clean. The hosts are charming. The property is very quiet. Our GPS didn’t recognize the number; so just input any number on the street and follow all the way to the end of the road.

Un endroit très bien pour visiter le parc des Volcan même si nous n'avons pas eu la chance d'y aller car encore fermé la semaine dernière (devait réouvrir le 22 septembre). Nous avons été superbement bien accueilli et nos hôtes nous ont donnés des adresses pour le dîner, ainsi que des conseils de visite.

Wir hatten laut Buchung ein Bad im Zimmer, dies war dann aber über den Flur. Theoretisch hätten die anderen Gäste unser Bad mitbenutzen können. Sehr miteilsame Inhaber, die mit Rat und Tat (Buchung Heliflug/Bootstour) zur Seite standen. Frühstück wird in deren Esszimmer serviert

Sweet home decoration.

Feel warm by home decoration. Suggest to put the sign at the end of road, especially when it is night, because no street light is on the way down to the building. We ask the neighbor instead. Host is very hospitality.

Perfect Name for this B&B!!

Lani and Ray were very kind and gracious hosts!! Their home is in a VERY quiet location. A perfect place to stay while visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park! A few of the homes on the road leading into this B&B looked a little rough, but End of the Road B&B was nice.

Great B&B in a secluded location

This is just 15 minutes away from the visitor center of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, about half of it up a country road from the main street of Volcano Village into a forest. The town has a couple of restaurants and stores and is a great base to explore the National Park. The owners are very friendly and can share lots of local information, as well as having a comfortable and well-maintained property. The bathroom is shared between two guest rooms and you can use the living room for TV etc.
