Excellent Studio apartment close to Volcano

A nice, large apartment with a full sized stove/oven and frig (which can get noisy cycling at night). All the amenities of home (except a dishwasher). A large, covered lanai and easy parking. Plus an ecletic bookshelf. Convenient locatino to town and Kilauea. Quiet neighborhood.

Two bedrooms?

The property has two sides to it. We booked a two bedroom and ended up in the side with the one bedroom. The other side was the two bedroom part of the property (and the view in the photo). The property was very nice overall and typically very quiet with the sounds of nature being the only ones you heard so it was a good overall stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this secluded and peaceful location. The tropical forest surrounding us with its melodies was quite enjoyable!! We spent our days exploring and our nights reminiscing on the large porch and enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the large home with a full kitchen and lots of space to unwind. The beds were very comfortable and the large parking area was nice. A little sad that there was no laundry machines available only because it rained often and everything was so damp in this location. My only wish was for lots more pathway lighting along the exterior of the property and along the driveway as it was pitch black at night without it. We arrived at night and has difficulty finding the property. There is a property with the same exact address with a different town name on the same street half a mile away which was extremely confusing. All in all we really enjoyed the home and loved the experience very much!! Closeness to Volcano National Park was the best and Hilo not far away for essentials!! Definitely recommend and would return!!

Nice Space for Families

We have a family of five so this beat squeezing in the Volcano House! Very clean. Nice kitchen but no dishwasher. Spacious and comfortable after a long day at the park. And then we drove back in (just minutes away) to see the caldera at night! We stayed three nights. Make sure to get your groceries beforehand! We went to Costco.

Perfect location near Volcanoes National Park

I was attending a workshop in Kona but wanted to spend some time in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Access to the park and some great locations to eat made it very convenient.

A very comfortable guest house that easily accomodated 4 people. Late check in was not a problem and very fast interent.
