"Very clean room and exceptional staff (everyone spoke English which was extremely helpful to this non-Spanish speaking person). Really enjoyed the seating area on the balcony outside my room. The restaurant was very nice with a variety of options that were reasonably priced. The sparkling pool was clean and refreshing. Also, you have to take stairs everyday for breakfast or to get to the main office. They were very steep and no guard rails...They are definitely safety hazard. Other that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."

"The view was amazing and staff were very friendly. I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing. The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely not worth the money spent. We found food more reasonably priced and better tasting outside the resort. I would strongly recommend this site if you want great views, friendly staff, the feeling of being alone, and don’t mind no AC."
